Hi, I’m Amanda!

My husband and I moved to Knoxville, Tenessee almost 13 years ago to attend Johnson University. Although I am a small town Midwest girl at heart, we absolutely love Knoxville and are so thankful to call it home.

My passion for pregnancy, birth, and newborns began when I was just 16 years old. While on a mission trip to Haiti, I witnessed a woman laboring on a five-gallon bucket in a small cement room. Two days later, I watched her travel home with her newborn baby on the back of a moped. That experience stayed with me and sparked a lifelong fascination with the incredible strength of women and the transition into motherhood.

Somewhere along the way, I also realized that I wanted to help people become parents. I met my husband when I was 17, and within weeks of dating, I told him that someday I wanted to be a surrogate. Five years later, in 2015, I gave birth to our amazing daughter, who is now 10. When we first laid eyes on her, we both knew we wanted to help other families experience the joy of becoming parents.

In 2018, 2020, and 2023, I had the incredible privilege of carrying three more babies as a gestational surrogate. Each time, I experienced the journey of pregnancy and birth while also witnessing a family meet the baby they had dreamed of. Seeing those parents hold their babies for the first time is something I will never forget.

These experiences have shaped the way I approach birth and postpartum support. I know that every pregnancy, every labor, and every family is different. I believe you deserve to feel informed, supported, heard, and confident as you bring your baby into the world and as you navigate those first few months at home.
